Welcome to the Drinking Self-Assessment
This drinking self-assessment walks you through three steps. Here's what to expect:
π Everything is private. Nothing you enter is saved, stored, or seen by anyone.
Clarify the Definitions
Before the screening, it helps to get on the same page about labels. The most important: what counts as a standard drink. Many people underestimate how much they drink because serving sizes are often larger than they realize. Taking a moment here will make your screening results more accurate.
Each of the following contains the same amount of pure alcohol β about 0.6 oz (14 grams).
β οΈ Craft beers, large wine pours, and mixed drinks often contain 1.5β3 standard drinks each.
Before the Screening
The next step is a 10-question screening called the AUDIT β a widely used tool for identifying patterns of alcohol use. It is used by healthcare providers worldwide. Your responses are completely private and are never saved or submitted anywhere.
Please select your gender below β it affects how your score is interpreted.
The following 10 questions comprise the AUDIT (Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test), a WHO-approved instrument in the public domain.
Check Your Drinking
Answer all 10 questions as honestly as you can. There are no right or wrong answers β only accurate and inaccurate ones. Your responses stay entirely private.
Faith & Your Drinking
These questions are not scored. They are an invitation to honest reflection β before God and, if you choose, in conversation with your pastor. There are no wrong answers here, only honest ones.
Your Results
Low-Risk Drinking Guidelines
The U.S. Dietary Guidelines define moderate, lower-risk drinking as:
These are upper limits β not targets. Less is always better. Some people should not drink at all, including those who are pregnant or take certain medications.

Binge Drinking Defined
Binge drinking significantly raises the risk of injury, illness, and dependence β even if it doesn't happen every day.

The following questions were developed by Resilient Recovery Ministries and are not part of the AUDIT.
Here are the results of the three spiritual questions. No app can provide you with meaningful spiritual advice or guidance. Your situation is too unique, and your spiritual health is too important to let an app have a say. Your responses here are best used as a discussion starter for you and your pastor.
